Online course content

The World Wide Web provides exciting opportunities for educators and trainers. Course content can be delivered to students at the time and place of their choosing. Moreover, online course content can be truly interactive.

By moving your course content online you can:

	Automatically mark online assessments
	Allow students to annotate their online course notes
	Allow students to discuss course material online with other students in discussion forums

Simulations and interactive tools

Computer simulations provide an ideal tool for exploring the behavior of the complex systems studied by scientists and engineers. Simulations can be developed for any system or process that can be described by mathematical or logical models.

Simulations can be interactive or real-time. Interactive simulations take input parameters supplied by the student, apply the appropriate model and display the model output. In real-time simulations the model runs continuously in the background while the student makes adjustments to model parameters in real time.

Simulation results can be displayed graphically on screen or exported to disk for further analysis.
